1. All quotes issued by SmartLink Integrations LLC are valid for a period of 30 days from the date provided unless otherwise stated in writing. After this period, pricing and availability may be subject to change without notice.

 

2. The scope of each quote is limited to the specific products and services explicitly listed. Any additional work, services, or product substitutions requested after acceptance of the original quote may incur additional charges. Any changes to the scope after approval require a revised quote, which must be reviewed and accepted by the customer before any further work is performed.

 

3. If installation services are included in the quote, they apply only to the basic installation of listed items. SmartLink Integrations LLC is not responsible for structural alterations or electrical modifications unless expressly stated. Electrical work requiring integration with home circuitry will be performed by licensed C10 contractors partnered with SmartLink, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.

 

4. Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added to the final invoice based on the customer's location. Tax and fees may not be reflected in the original quote unless specifically noted.

 

5. A deposit equal to 10% of the total quoted amount is required to secure scheduling for installation and to initiate procurement of custom or special-order items. The remaining balance is due upon completion of services unless alternative payment terms have been agreed upon in writing.

 

6. Customers may cancel their quote within 7 days of acceptance to receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations made after this period, or within 48 hours of a scheduled appointment, will result in forfeiture of the 10% deposit. Custom or special-order products may be non-refundable, subject to supplier policies, regardless of the 7-day cancellation window. 7. Customers are responsible for ensuring site accessibility, a reliable internet connection for smart device setup, and that all necessary decision-makers are present at the time of installation. Customers must also remain available for up to two hours after installation to complete device configuration, automation setup, onboarding, and training. If rescheduling is requested within 48 hours of the appointment, a $100 fee will be added to the final invoice. Refer to Section 6 for policies regarding cancellations and deposits.

 

8. Customers must ensure the installation site is safe, accessible, and construction-ready. If SmartLink technicians encounter unprepared or unsafe site conditions that result in rescheduling, a $100 rescheduling fee will apply.

 

9. SmartLink Integrations LLC is not responsible for pre-existing issues at the installation site or for compatibility problems involving third-party devices or services not provided by SmartLink. We are not liable for data loss, network disruptions, or failures involving services or hardware outside of our scope of supply.

 

10. All equipment provided by SmartLink Integrations LLC remains our property until full payment is received. Title and ownership transfer to the client only upon receipt of final payment in full.

 

11. By accepting a quote, submitting a deposit, or scheduling an installation, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

 

12. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to pursue good-faith efforts to resolve the issue through mediation before initiating legal action or arbitration.

 

13. SmartLink Integrations LLC shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, labor shortages, supplier delays, or governmental restrictions.
